Håbo municipality took help from a new section in the Environmental Code to stop the scandal-ridden company Think Pink's progress in the municipality. The section states that activities may not be carried out in such a way that they endanger people's environment and health. And by claiming that this was the case, the municipality managed to ban the company - which then voluntarily closed the tip.
The section that came at the turn of the year 2019/20 meant a concrete opportunity for Håbo to ban the business.
Think Pink appealed to the County Administrative Board in Uppsala County, which said that the company was not allowed to conduct business before they fell.
Then the company chose to cease operations in the municipality.
