Russia is not considering the issue of introducing compulsory vaccination against coronavirus infection for all citizens of the countries.

This was stated by the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

“It's still very important to consider the nuances here.

We are not talking about total compulsory vaccination, we are talking about the instructions of the chief sanitary doctor in the region and the decision that the head of the region makes on the basis of these instructions within the framework of those special powers that he has, ”Peskov said.

According to him, the heads of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, who decided to introduce compulsory vaccination for a number of categories of workers, were guided by local indicators.

“They use special powers, they are delegated to them by a presidential decree, this is not a total vaccination of the population, we are talking about compulsory vaccination for certain areas of the economy, taking into account how the wave of infection is going, - yes, this is quite justified.

This does not change the essence of the approach to this problem, ”the Kremlin spokesman explained.

Earlier, in Moscow, Moscow, Kemerovo and Sakhalin regions, mandatory vaccination was introduced for employees in the service sector, public transport and taxis, education, health and social services, housing and communal services, cultural and entertainment events, theaters, cinemas and concert halls.

According to Vyacheslav Dukhin, deputy chairman of the Moscow region government, about 670 thousand people in the region are subject to mandatory vaccination.

“We want the data on the vaccinated employees to be submitted by the heads of enterprises through the regional portal of public services.

They are familiar with this procedure, ”TASS quotes him.

In turn, the vice-governor of the Moscow region, Igor Treskov, indicated that by June 30, bus and taxi drivers will have to confirm where and when they will be vaccinated.

Otherwise, they will not be allowed to work.

In addition, TASS reported that the Council of Rectors of Moscow and Moscow Region universities recommended that from September 1, 2021, only students who have vaccination certificates, certificates of the presence of antibodies produced as a result of an illness, or certificates of contraindications to vaccination against coronavirus for medical reasons.

"EpiVacCorona"

Rinat Maksyutov, Director General of the State Research Center for Virology and Biotechnology Vector, Rinat Maksyutov, said that nine months after being vaccinated with the EpiVacCorona vaccine, more than half of those vaccinated had antibodies.

“As of 3 and 6 months, we record the presence of antibodies in all vaccinated volunteers.

As of 9 months, more than half of the volunteers also have a detectable level of antibodies to the virus, ”he said in an interview with the Russia 24 TV channel.

At the same time, according to him, the "Vector" center will receive the most representative data based on the results of post-registration clinical trials for 3 thousand volunteers, which will be completed at the end of July.
