China News Service, June 17 According to Taiwan’s "United Daily News", the Taiwan Epidemic Command Center announced on the 17th that there were 175 newly confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia on the island and 19 new deaths among the confirmed cases.
The command center stated that the newly added 175 local cases were 100 males and 75 females, aged between 5 and 90 years old, and the onset date was between June 3 and June 16.
New Taipei City has the most cases with 87 cases, followed by Taipei City with 34 cases and Miaoli County with 31 cases.
