The “Waterfalls” initiative, the largest global initiative for continuing education and specialized distance training, which was launched from the UAE to the world, has achieved more than 50% of its goal to train one million doctors and specialists in the health sector from different countries of the world, as the number of beneficiaries of the initiative reached 508,000. The UAE government’s initiative to train the global health sector (Waterfalls), the goal: to train one million people from all over the world, I thank all the partners in the initiative from universities, institutions and doctors around the world.”

Waterfalls is a continuous distance education program launched by the UAE government with the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and is implemented under the follow-up and supervision of His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as part of the behavioral rewards management initiatives in The Ministry of Possibilities, the largest global initiative for continuous learning and specialized distance training. The initiative aims to train and empower about one million medical personnel through specialized educational sessions, training workshops, seminars and lectures, to qualify and empower medical personnel and help them continue learning under the conditions accompanying “Covid-19”, and enable them to complete their scientific career through continuing education. Remotely.

The exceptional initiative represents sustainable support from the UAE to support global efforts in medical relief work. It also enhances the UAE’s position as an active part of the world’s health system within the framework of the country’s contribution to the global effort by upgrading the efficiency of medical cadres, refining their skills, and making them more able and willing to deal efficiently. and effectiveness in confronting health crises with more efficiency and greater determination, for the benefit and health of societies.

More than 327 lecturers and specialists in various medical fields in the world participated in presenting the initiative's sessions, to enhance the skills and experiences of the participants, and to inform them of the latest developments in their field, which qualifies them to face all health crises and emergencies in the future.

Experts, scientists, doctors and specialists in the health and humanitarian sector participate in the design and development of scientific lectures, educational sessions and remote training workshops, and they are among the brightest specialists from the United States of America, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

The Behavioral Rewards Department, in cooperation with the consulting partner Index Holding, and the “Aqdar” global summit, are organizing the global initiative for continuing education and specialized distance training, which aims to empower one million medical cadres from around the world, including doctors, nurses, paramedics, technicians, administrators and health experts in the hospital sector.
