Aldebert, star of children's song, has teamed up for a duet with Calogero for "Double papa", a sensitive song about homoparentality.

"Once upon a time there was the fruit of unparalleled love", sings Aldebert, who juggles in his single with the words and sounds "father / peer / pair" and slips a message of tolerance.

"It's really a joy to share this duet with Guillaume (first name of Aldebert), it's a song that really makes sense, intelligent, universal", rejoices to AFP Calogero.

This title comes out this Friday, the start of a Father's Day weekend.

The song was born "from a meeting of a couple who became a couple of friends; my wife is a doctor and one of the doctors who works with her is one of the two dads of the song", tells AFP Aldebert, dressed that day in a t-shirt of a metal band, his first musical love.

"They told me their story, they have a daughter, the biological mother is in the USA - the surrogacy (Surrogacy) was chosen -? It's a very beautiful adventure", he continues. franc-comtois accent (he lives near Besançon) which disappears when he sings.

Obviously, "at one point, the song light came on, says the songwriter. The subject is pretty but remains quite delicate, even more with children: how to talk about it with them?".

- "Childishness 4" -

As usual, the forty-something has found the formula: "You have to talk about it very simply, without going into something militant, talking about the universality of the family, which is illustrated by the clip (which also comes out this Friday ) with homoparental, single-parent, hetero families, etc. ".

The voices of Albert and Calogero fit together ideally and the title could have a wider audience than just young audiences.

"Double Papa" comes as a scout for a new album from Aldebert, "Enfantillages 4" scheduled for August 27 (at Sony).

As for the other volumes (the first date of 2008) of these successful records, prestigious guests come to pose their voices.

"It's the song that offers a guest, that makes musically think of a universe, quite naturally for this one we thought of Calogero", he describes.

Barely contacted, the latter immediately responded.

"My first two children - now I have four - grew up with + Enfantillages 1+, the other two with 2 and 3, that's how I got to know Guillaume, through his songs", relates the interpreter of "Face à la mer".

- Souchon, Thomas Dutronc ... -

"I like his talent, his songs are beautiful, he sings them well, it affects children, it is not given to everyone, it is a nice guy", he adds.

And for the record, it is Nina, eldest daughter of Calogero, that we also hear on the song.

There are more surprises in the upcoming album.

Aldebert has been teasing in recent days to reveal on his social networks the other guests of the new album.

In particular, there will be Alain Souchon, who will sing with his sons, who are also musicians.

"It's an album that opens up to the world, for the 4th opus we had to renew ourselves, no longer just talking about school and family," says Aldebert, father of three children.

The initial idea, "to travel and meet instrumentalists from all over the world", was shaken up by the pandemic and the confinements.

Reunion Island is the only box outside of mainland France that Albert was able to physically tick.

But the album keeps in places musical colors of the world.

In addition to the title with Calogero, other topical subjects are discussed, such as the addiction of parents to screens, in a title with Thomas Dutronc.

Aldebert is going on tour again this fall, with around sixty dates already, in mainland France, but also further afield, in New Caledonia and Vietnam.
