At his home, investigators discovered about twenty pythons as well as two iguanas that he raised without authorization or certificate.

Already convicted of similar facts, the individual is also suspected of having crossed pythons to give birth to species of hybrid snakes, the daily specifies.

The animals seized were entrusted to members of the Terrarium de Kerdanet association (Côtes-d'Armor).

Two other people, including a pet store manager, were also arrested in this case.
