Three days before the regional elections, Valérie Pécresse, president (LR) of the region in Île-de-France and candidate for re-election was the guest of Europe 1, Thursday.

Accused of having brought in false activists to swell the ranks of a political rally in Brive in 2019, the latter defends itself,

In early June, an investigation revealed that Valérie Pécresse would have swelled the ranks of a meeting in Brive in 2019, with fake activists from community associations in the region.

"I invite them to come to my meetings"

Valérie Pécresse denies it: she did not resort to false activists.

"It shows the excitement of my opponents," she said.

"I invite them to come to my meetings which are full, like yesterday in Provins where we had a full house, much more full than the National Rally in the same place."
