Journalist Estelle Denis will leave the L'Equipe channel, where she hosted a sports program, to join RMC where she will be in charge of a daily program of debates on current affairs, the RMC group announced in a press release on Thursday.

Estelle Denis, who presented "L'Equipe d'Estelle" since 2017, will leave the L'Equipe channel at the end of the Euro football tournament to host from August 23 "a news and debate program", broadcast simultaneously on RMC radio and the RMC Story channel, Monday to Friday, 12 a.m. to 3 p.m.

"Surrounded by a band of columnists", the journalist will comment and decipher the news with guests, all punctuated by interventions from listeners and viewers.

"Estelle Denis is a passionate and committed personality who embodies popular information", according to Karim Nedjari, former journalist and CEO of RMC since early March.

His talk show "will meet the expectations of RMC listeners and RMC Story viewers where all opinions will be expressed and represented," he adds.

"The idea of ​​being able to host a topical event simultaneously on radio and television, is something that I have been waiting for a long time" especially "in this presidential year which promises to be particularly exciting", affirms the journalist, quoted in the press release.
