US President Joe Biden was exposed to an embarrassing situation after meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, at the Geneva summit.
The US president was unable to pronounce the Russian president's family name from the first time, according to the American "CNBC" network.
Speaking of Putin, the US leader started to pronounce his predecessor, Donald Trump, but corrected himself in time.
"I saw excerpts from President Tra...Putin's speech," Biden said.
It is noteworthy that US President Joe Biden was exposed in more than one situation to a "slip of the tongue", as he did not differentiate between the words "escalation" and "vaccination" in one of the meetings when he spoke about the fight against Corona.
He also mistook "Syria and Libya" in another speech at the G7 summit.
The talks that the Russian and American presidents held in Geneva lasted 4.5 hours, with a break, and a joint declaration was issued on the launch by Moscow and Washington of the "Comprehensive Bilateral Dialogue on Strategic Stability."
