The prosecution requested seven years in prison on Thursday with a committal warrant against "Haurus", the former DGSI agent currently on trial in Nanterre for having sold confidential information on the "darknet".

Before the criminal court, the prosecutor Catherine Denis denounced an "individual untied in moral sense and scruples" who "betrayed the Republic by unspeakable behavior" and demonstrated a "total lack of remorse".

"He has definitely changed sides: he no longer behaves and no longer considers himself a police officer," she denounced, also asking for a ban on him from exercising in the public service.

"Do not come and tell us that he is in danger if he is in prison. If he is in danger, it is because of his communication plan", she argued, saying reference to an interview given openly by Haurus to L'Obs this week.

She also requested five years in prison, including three suspended sentences, against the alleged accomplice and companion of "Haurus", denouncing his "arrogance" and his "aplomb".

"He was perfectly aware of how the resources were arriving in the couple," she argued.

Since the start of his trial on Tuesday, "Haurus", a 35-year-old former official who worked in a counterterrorism unit of the General Directorate of Homeland Security, explained that he had started his illicit activities on the darknet to "put butter in the clouds. spinach ".

He gradually diversified them by selling personal and confidential data extracted from police files to which he had access: identities, addresses, telephone geolocations, false administrative documents ... Before starting to make false checks.

At the bar, he described a form of "addiction", which made him "lose touch with reality".

The defense pleadings are expected Thursday during the day.
