After several years of planning, Anna Segerstedt, who runs Gränslöst in Umfors, began building a campsite.

But then came the corona pandemic and there was a deadlock in the bookings.

Despite the difficult situation they were in last spring, they decided to continue construction.

- If we had the decision in hand and knew that the corona would last for this long, we might have made a different decision, says Anna Segerstedt.

How did you dare to continue investing?

- Stupid or smart?

The border is fine, says Anna Segerstedt and smiles.

Hope for "mountain champion"

Last summer, the campsite was completely deserted.

The Norwegians who signed up as seasonal stakeholders could not come.

Now there are many indications that the Swedes will holiday in the country this year, and the mountains are high on the wish list for many.

Therefore, Anna Segerstedt hopes that this summer will be better than last.

- Now we will see if it will be a home master or mountain master.

Maybe people have re-evaluated their destinations and then some should come here to us.
