At 1 p.m., the two world leaders met at an 18th-century mansion overlooking Lake Geneva in Switzerland.

- It was a rigid meeting and it did not feel like any of them were comfortable, says the expert Gabriella Lockwall who for over twenty years worked with non-verbal communication.

There were no big movements or gestures from either Joe Biden or Vladimir Putin, but there were still several small details in the body language that revealed them.

- Putin's feet showed that he was not comfortable and Biden initiated the handshake quite hesitantly, Lockwall says.

In the video above, Gabriella Lockwall analyzes the two world leaders' body language in the historical meeting.
