This is stated in a joint statement by the leaders of the two countries, the text of which is published on the Kremlin's website. 

Putin and Biden reaffirmed their commitment to the principle that there can be no winners in a nuclear war and should never be unleashed.

“To achieve these goals, Russia and the United States will soon launch a comprehensive bilateral dialogue on strategic stability, which will be substantive and energetic,” the statement says.

The presidents of the two countries stressed that through such a dialogue, they seek to lay the foundation for future arms control and risk mitigation measures.

Earlier, Biden, following his talks with Putin in Geneva, said that the United States and Russia have an interest in the Cold War.

Biden also called the positive atmosphere of the meeting with Putin.

Putin said at a press conference that the parties were not under any pressure in his talks with American leader Joe Biden in Geneva.
