Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic and regular season best player (MVP) Nikola Jokic were named in the 2020-2021 major five, the NBA announced on Tuesday.

Named MVP of the regular season in 2019 and 2020, the Greek Antetokounmpo, of the Milwaukee Bucks, obtained his third consecutive selection and was the only player to be unanimously designated to join the All-NBA first team, on the 100 counted ballots.

Denver Nuggets 'Serbian Jokic received 99 votes and Dallas Mavericks' Slovenian Doncic, 55.

Doncic is the first player to make the All-NBA first team at least twice in his first three seasons in the North American Basketball League since Tim Duncan in the late 1990s.

Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers round out that first five.

Curry was elected for the fourth consecutive year and Leonard for the third consecutive time.

The second NBA team for the 2020-2021 season is made up of Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers), Cameroonian Joel Embiid (Philadelphia Sixers), Chris Paul (Phoenix Suns), Julius Randle (New York Knicks) and LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers).

In the third team of the season are Kyrie Irving (Brooklyn Nets), Bradley Beal (Washington Wizards), Jimmy Butler (Miami Heat), Paul George (Los Angeles Clippers) and the French Rudy Gobert (Utah Jazz), crowned best defender for the 3rd time this season.

This is the first All-NBA selections for Randle and Beal.

James got his 17th selection and Paul his 10th.

The teams were selected by a global panel of 100 media members.
