At the same time as the infection situation is getting better and better, not everyone dares to plan trips this summer.

And very few have booked trips abroad.

The campsites in the county are now preparing for the summer, which they hope will be better than last year.

In Skellefteå, for example, Byske camping has received quite a few bookings, while Skellefteå camping has fewer.

- It is probably because you want to be out in nature or on the beach and not inside the city, says Marie Lindquist Holmlund who is the manager of both facilities.

"More people are discovering camping"

In southern Sweden, it is reported that the campsites are already fully booked.

But in northern Sweden it looks different because many campsites usually have many guests from Norway.

Ansia resort in Lycksele, for example, usually has around 40 percent Norwegian guests.

- We still believe in a good summer.

More people are discovering camping and we have made investments to meet new guests, says Anders Långström, facility manager.

And those SVT talks to in Umeå confirm the picture.

No one is planning a trip abroad.

It is Sweden that applies to this year's holiday.
