After the five-year-old boy was found dead in Hagfors on Tuesday, Thomas Pfitzinger-Drewes has seen a great deal of commitment in Hagfors.

Already when the news of the boy's disappearance came, early on Tuesday morning, the pastor noted how people began to get involved.

- Many went for short walks when they could to keep an eye on the boy, he says, and continues:

- When we then received the tragic message, it was clear that they were incredibly sad.

Above all, I feel sad that a boy of that age is not allowed to continue living.

"Great pity"

After the announcement, a spontaneous candle lighting was arranged for relatives, friends and others who wanted to show their participation.

According to the pastor, many in society have been affected and involved emotionally.

- It is a small community where everyone knows everyone and of course feels great compassion for each other.
