Biden called the positive atmosphere of the meeting with Putin

"There is no substitution ... a face-to-face meeting between the leaders," Biden said.

He added that relations with Russia must be predictable and stable.

“I can tell you that the atmosphere, the tone of the meeting itself was good, positive, there were no wrong steps,” Biden said at a press conference following his talks with Putin.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that negotiations with the US leader went well.
