The chief sanitary doctor of Moscow, Elena Andreeva, signed a decree on the compulsory vaccination of workers in the service sector.

We are talking about employees of trade, services, transport, medicine and housing and communal services, as well as representatives of theaters, cinemas, concert halls, workers in children's rooms, various public events, workers in the field of education, social protection and others.

It is noted that the heads of organizations have been tasked with instilling at least 60% of employees.

By July 15, it is necessary as the first component of vaccines, and by August 15 - the second.

“The epidemiological situation for this infection in Moscow is assessed as unfavorable.

The situation with the new coronavirus infection in Moscow is worsening, when analyzing the incidence rate, it was found that people of working age from 18 to 60 years old are more likely to get sick, the proportion of which is 60%, ”the resolution says.

In turn, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin called the epidemiological situation in the city “dramatic”.

The mayor stressed that the incidence rate in the capital is at the level of last year's peaks.

“Over the past day, more than 70 people have died.

You would not wish such a death on anyone.

Most of these people would not even get sick if they had received the covid vaccine on time.

When a person gets sick, and especially in a severe form, he, of course, regrets that he was not vaccinated.

But it's too late, ”he said.

Sobyanin stressed that vaccination is everyone's personal business until a person appears in public places.

He stressed that in order to fulfill the decision of the chief sanitary doctor, the necessary information system will be created in Moscow by July 1, which will allow monitoring the process of achieving the necessary vaccination rates in accordance with the decree.

“We are simply obliged to do everything in order to carry out mass vaccinations in the shortest possible time and stop this terrible disease.

Stop the death of thousands of people.

I ask you to understand correctly and support this extremely difficult, difficult, but necessary and responsible decision, "Sobyanin emphasized.

We add that the authorities of the Moscow region have also introduced compulsory vaccination for certain categories of citizens.

Meanwhile, the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov clarified that there are no intentions to introduce widespread vaccination in Russia.

“There is still no compulsory vaccination, there is still no talk about it,” he said.

"The only way out of the situation"

Only mandatory vaccination can stop the spread of coronavirus infection and prevent new outbreaks of the disease.

This opinion was previously expressed by the head physician of the infectious diseases hospital in the Moscow village of Kommunarka, Denis Protsenko, in an interview with journalist Anton Krasovsky on the YouTube channel "Antonyms".

“This is the only way out of the current situation with the pandemic.

And the question - how it should be regulated - is probably the most important one.

But the fact that it should be regulated on the basis of those 15 million (vaccinated in Russia. - RT) that you announced, apparently, this is obvious, "he said.

As noted by Protsenko, the idea of vaccination is that "the body is ready to face the infection, and not to prevent it."

“If you are not vaccinated, the virus gets in, it takes 14 days for the immune system to respond.

These 14 days are a disaster ... Vaccination will make it easier to survive the fact of illness in case of infection.

But it is not able to protect 100%, ”he said.

Protsenko also stressed that the low rates of vaccination against coronavirus lead to the fact that COVID-19 mutates more actively: "Low rates of vaccination - they create the prerequisites, biological prerequisites for this (for the emergence of new strains. -

RT

) - transmission, increased contagiousness."

At the same time, according to him, the incubation period of the coronavirus was reduced to four to five days.

He also noted that the reason for the increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in Moscow was the lack of the required number of vaccinated, the general relaxation of the population, the "enchanting" attitude towards wearing masks and maintaining social distance.

“People are probably really tired.

All of this cumulatively gave this explosion, call it the third wave.

It happened, this is a fact, ”Protsenko said.

According to him, more than 200 patients are admitted to City Clinical Hospital No. 40 every day, which is more than during the peak days in the first two waves of the spread of COVID-19.

On the eve of the Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin pointed out that in recent days in the capital there has been "an explosive growth in diagnostics of COVID-19" - an increase in daily growth by about 80%.

At the same time, the number of patients admitted to hospitals in whom the disease is severe has increased by 70%.

On June 16, Moscow Deputy Mayor for Social Development Anastasia Rakova announced the opening of three CT centers for the diagnosis of coronavirus - they are deployed on the basis of city polyclinic No. 212, city polyclinic No. 5, branch 1 and city polyclinic No. 22.

"Thus, now there are already 30 such centers in the city, this will allow us to cover all citizens with COVID-19 or suspicion of it who need diagnostics, as well as unload the hospital," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

The situation with COVID-19 in Russia

Over the past day in Russia, the daily increase in cases of coronavirus infection was 13 397. Moscow (5782), Moscow region (1187) and St. Petersburg (927) are leading in terms of the number of detected cases.

In total, 5,249,990 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Russian Federation since the beginning of the pandemic.

Meanwhile, in Russia over the past 24 hours, 10,256 people have recovered, and over the entire period the number of recovered has reached 4,828,500. 396 patients have died from complications that developed against the background of COVID-19 and concomitant diseases in the last day.

In total, 127,576 people became victims of coronavirus infection in the country.

According to mathematicians from St. Petersburg State University, the current peak of the incidence will be in mid-July, and the number of active patients diagnosed with coronavirus will be 580 thousand people, which will exceed the January peak (560 thousand people).

"The maximum number of new cases of the current wave of the epidemic can be registered at the end of June - about 25 thousand," - quoted by the newspaper "Izvestia" Head of the Department of Mathematical Modeling of Energy Systems of St. Petersburg State University Viktor Zakharov.

At the same time, Alexander Gintsburg, director of the Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, announced the discovery in Moscow of a new SARS-CoV-2 mutation, a modified Indian strain of coronavirus.

“Now we are determining the range of strains that circulate in Moscow - and there is already more than one Wuhan strain, there is also a modified Indian one.

We are now studying the epidemiological efficiency of Sputnik V against these strains, "Interfax quotes him.

At the same time, Gunzburg noted that having received the Sputnik V vaccine, a person would be protected from the Indian strain.

On the eve of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, citing a study by the Gamaleya Center, reported that Sputnik V is more effective against the Delta variant of the coronavirus, first discovered in India, than any other vaccine whose research results have been published so far.

One of the COVID-19 cases was the head of the Komi Republic, Vladimir Uyba.

He recorded a video message from the ward of the republican infectious diseases hospital, saying that his condition was assessed as satisfactory.

“I was vaccinated with Sputnik V in February of this year, received a fairly high titer of antibodies, and now a second infection.

I want to say that if there were no vaccinations, then with the level of microbial contamination that I now have based on the results of PCR, this disease would be very severe, ”he said.

His colleague, the governor of Primorsky Krai, Oleg Kozhemyako, said in his Telegram channel that he and his wife had been vaccinated against the coronavirus.

“We see that the number of people infected with COVID-19 is growing in Primorye, as well as in other regions.

We are forced to re-deploy beds in hospitals.

Doctors confirm that only vaccination effectively helps the body to avoid a complex course of the disease.

Therefore, I ask you not to neglect the opportunity to protect yourself and your loved ones and relatives, ”he wrote.

In turn, the head of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications, Alexander Khinshtein, sent inquiries to the Prosecutor General and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia with an appeal to check the facts of the provision of illegal services for the sale of COVID-19 vaccination certificates on the Internet.

Previously, relevant materials appeared in the media and social networks.

“Considering the recorded increase in the number of people infected with coronavirus in June 2021, as well as insufficient rates of vaccination in the country, the development of the“ black ”market for fake vaccination certificates and the entry of information about vaccination in the federal register of vaccinated persons acquires the character of a threat to the state interests and safety of Russians,” says in the document.
