15 June 2021 UEFA sent a letter to Juventus and to the Football Federation for information, communicating the admission of the Juventus club to the 2021-2022 edition of the Champions League. The Uefa letter is dated 14 June.

The officialization of Juventus' admission to the Champions League comes after the suspension of the Uefa disciplinary proceedings against Juve, Barcelona and Real Madrid for the Super League affair. It is learned from Juventus corporate sources.

The stop to the disciplinary procedure by UEFA for the Superlega project has therefore given the green light to the Juventus club to participate in the next edition of the Champions League without consequences. On June 9, UEFA officially suspended the sanctioning proceedings against Juventus, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

The turning point probably came after Uefa and Fifa received an official notification from the Swiss Ministry of Justice which would in practice prevent the two federations from issuing sanctions against the clubs, as reported by "Cadena Ser".

The situation was born from the decision of the Court of Madrid which had expressed itself, last April 20 (immediately after the launch of the Superlega project) with a precautionary measure that prohibited Uefa and Fifa from blocking the launch of the Superlega. Furthermore, Uefa and Fifa, according to the Madrid court, could not have imposed sanctions on clubs and players until the case was fully considered.

The court had stated in a written ruling that FIFA, UEFA and all associated football federations must not adopt "any measure that prohibits, restricts, limits or conditions in any way" the creation of the Super League.
