Migrants, 692 arrivals in Lampedusa in one day: mini-landings resume
Migrants, 410 on MSF ship: "they are exhausted, let them land"

June 15, 2021 The transfer operations of migrants from the hotspot in the Imbriacola district continue in Lampedusa, which, after the maxi landings of the last few days (nine only today with 648 refugees), over 1,350 people with a capacity of 250 guests.
The prefecture of Agrigento has ordered the boarding of a first group of 150 migrants on the quarantine ship Azzurra with which they will reach Pozzallo. From there they will be transferred to reception centers in other regions of Italy.
Another 80 migrants in the evening, however, left the island aboard the Cossyra ferry bound for Porto Empedocle. They are then expected to move to Lazio.
For 40, however, the transfer on board the Coast Guard patrol boat is arranged: their final destination is Molise.
