- We thought that interest would fall last year due to the pandemic, but it is just as big, says Jeanette Winberg, unit manager for Young Meetings at the Cultural Administration in Halmstad.

New for this year is that the municipality has invested a little extra in arranging activities for older young people aged 16-19.

- Partly because it is a target group that is in extra need.

Then there is also a target group that we work with the rest of the year, so it feels important to be able to offer something during the summer, says Jeanette Winberg, unit manager for Young Meetings at the Cultural Administration in Halmstad.

To reduce the risk of infection, the municipality offers as many campsites as usual, but they hold more camps with fewer participants. In addition to camps, it is possible to hang out at the culture house Nolltrefem and the municipality has opened three meeting places in Vallås, Andersberg and Oskarström.
