Director Kevin Bright, the producer of the popular American sitcom 'Friends', made a documentary that highlights Korean dog meat and is becoming a hot topic.

This is the documentary Yellowy directed by Kevin Bright, which has been released on YouTube since the 10th.

As it is a documentary about the reality of dog meat in Korea, the title was written in Korean. Director Bright said that he decided to make a film that explores the reality of dog meat four years ago when he heard that dogs were eaten in a country with high education and economy like Korea.

Through direct visits to dog breeding farms and extensive interviews with animal protectors and ordinary citizens, the reality of the Korean dog meat industry was captured.

It also revealed a little-known fact in Korea, where there are 10,000 dog farms nationwide and the annual slaughter is at least 1.5 million.

As it is a sensitive topic, as soon as it was released online on the 10th, there were more than 1,500 comments, pros and cons, and director Bright said that he understands that the dog meat industry is a very complex issue in Korean modern culture. He expressed his hope that it would open up a forum for discussing the reality and future of the dog meat industry.
