Don't panic,

20 Minutes

asked the six main candidates in Ile-de-France for their three flagship measures.

Clémentine Autain (LFI-PCF) and the “houses of Ile-de-France”

While the health crisis has put health back at the center of the issues, the LFI candidate is betting big on this subject, and proposes to create 300 health centers, criticizing the proposed merger of the Bichat and Beaujon hospitals which, according to the unions, would lead to the removal with 400 beds and 1000 workstations.

Like its competitor EELV, Clémentine Autain is betting on organic in canteens (80%), which would be free for low income and would offer a vegetarian menu per week.

Finally, she plans to create "houses of Ile-de-France" in each department "to listen, support, support the voice of women" victims of violence in particular and meet feminist associations.

Julien Bayou's “Green New Deal” (EELV)

This is the flagship proposal of the environmental candidate: the Ile-de-France “Green New Deal”, a massive investment plan that would create up to “200,000 jobs” in the region, by investing in renewable energies, transport, cycling or again by offering 100% organic food in high school canteens.

The measure is costed 3 billion euros over two years.

The national secretary of EELV is also keen to promote social housing, the budget of which he wants to triple.

Finally, with regard to transport, which Julien Bayou wants to modernize and make accessible less than 15 minutes from the home of each Ile-de-France and Ile-de-France, he also proposes the creation of a “Navigo +”, “a single subscription that will give access to around twenty transports ”, ie metro, transilien, bus, self-service bicycle, scooter, etc.

Jordan Bardella (RN) wants armed officers in every metro station

The central theme of Jordan Bardella is undoubtedly security. To secure public transport in Ile-de-France, the candidate of the National Rally proposes to post in each of the 800 stations and metro stations in the region (and not 300) two “permanently armed” agents. A thousand armed agents will be recruited the first year, promises the candidate, who believes that "on security, Pécresse had a soft hand".

Aged 25, the head of the RN list does not forget young people.

He wishes for those of them who plan to create their business a regional aid fund.

“For 1,000 euros invested by a young person, the region will provide an additional 1,000 euros, with a ceiling of 5,000 euros”, his campaign team specifies.

Finally Jordan Bardella displays a national-compatible ecology by advocating "localism", and in particular the development of short circuits in collective catering.

The “regional mutual” project of Valérie Pécresse (Libres!)

The theme of security is also very present in the current president of the Ile-de-France region (Libres! List supported by LR and the UDI), who wants a regional transport police, for which she promises to recruit 1,000 new agents. The forces of the RATP, the SNCF and the national police should therefore all be united in the same command center.

The favorite of the polls Valérie Pécresse is also betting on health, by promoting a "regional mutual", with the aim of obtaining, for retirees, students, self-employed workers and job seekers, "rates which could be from 20 to 30% cheaper for all Ile-de-France residents who have mutual funds ”.

Finally, his team puts forward the idea of a “regional educational reserve”, ie retired teachers responsible for fighting against dropping out of school.

Free transport for Audrey Pulvar (Ile-de-France in public)

This is Audrey Pulvar's flagship measure, the one that readers who follow this campaign have inevitably heard about: free public transport. "It is a question of social justice, of supporting the working classes in the ecological transition and of opening up the territories", explains the former president of the Nicolas Hulot Foundation.

Economically, the candidate for the Ile-de-France list, supported in particular by the PS, wants to create a regional public investment bank, with an envelope of one billion euros for the term of office, which will support companies in difficulty or engaged in an eco-responsible approach via zero-interest loans.

Finally, the former journalist highlights with

20 Minutes

a less well-known measure, the Long-term Citizens' Assembly, an assembly of citizens who will be consulted "on all the structuring projects of the region" in terms of the environment, according to his program.

Our 2021 regional report

The popular savings fund of Laurent Saint-Martin (LREM)

Safety, economy, youth: this is how we could summarize the triptych of measures proposed by Laurent Saint-Martin.

Like Valérie Pécresse, the LREM candidate wants a regional transport police, which would be added to those of the RATP and the SNCF.

In economic matters, this man little known to the general public is betting on a popular savings fund.

Ile-de-France residents put their savings in a passbook, which will help businesses in difficulty, or those that are developing.

Finally, young people from the Ile-de-France region who are not educated, unemployed or without training aged 16 to 25 could benefit from 500 euros per month in “emergency income”.

But don't call it a “young RSA”…
