June 15, 2021 "We have exceeded 300 million vaccinations in the European Union. Every day we are getting closer and closer to our goal: to have enough doses to vaccinate 70% of adults in the EU next month" announced the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

"We will work hand in hand to overcome the Covid pandemic", the president also declared in a joint press conference with the president of the European Council, Charles Michel, and the Canadian premier, Justin Trudeau. The summit was held yesterday evening. "We have managed to keep the vaccine supply chain open," added von der Leyen.

There are 42,734,542 anti-Covid vaccine administrations in Italy, 93.5% of the total delivered, equal to 45,703,522 so far. This is underlined by the national report updated to 06.09 today, according to which the total number of immunized people now reaches 12,259,075, or 26.28% of the over 12 population.
