It was around 3 p.m. when two men armed with baseball bats attacked an individual in the street.
The latter replied by taking out a knife before stabbing his attackers.
One of them, aged 30, was shot in the chest and seriously injured.
Urgently transported to the city hospital, he was still Monday at the end of the day between life and death, specifies the daily.
The other 23-year-old was slightly injured.
On the run, the suspect is actively sought by the gendarmes.
According to the first elements of the investigation, it could be a settling of scores against a background of drug trafficking.
