None of those who were then part of the staff group will remain in the job.

Four have left, one is on notice and two are on sick leave.

Two new employees in the department have also resigned.

We meet several of those who worked in the human resources department and who tell us that after Jessica Rydström had to leave her job, the work environment became so bad that several of them went to work crying and some became ill from the work climate.

In the clip above, you can hear their story of what the situation was like.

Jessica Rydström, tells SVT that it has been a difficult time and that she has now moved on to a job in another municipality.

The head of the municipality, Anders Andersson, says that he tried to have a constructive dialogue with those who worked at the department.

- But there has not been a constructive climate to do this, he says.

Consultant for SEK 810 per hour

When Jessica Rydström, who had always had strong support from the working group she worked with, left, the municipality hired a consultant for SEK 810 per hour as acting director.

human resources manager.

It was a person who had previously been fired as CEO of municipal Arvidsjaurhem and who also resigned as CEO of Kilsbostäder - after a settlement with the employer.

Then the situation in the department deteriorated further.

According to employees, the consultant had a leadership style that did not work.

- You should not have to go to a workplace and cry, it's not okay, says Emelie Wennerstrand, who is one of those who became ill from the situation and who has now stopped.

Johanna Södersberg (C) as municipal councilor is ultimately responsible for the working environment in the municipality.

- I think it does not sound good.

But what you describe is just a department in the municipality.

It is not generally all over the municipality that the work environment looks like this, she says.

There has also been political strife over this issue.

The head of the municipality accuses the deputy chairman of the municipal board of interfering in things he did not have to do with.

And fired boss Jessica Rydström has received an apology from one of the ruling politicians.

More about that tomorrow when SVT's review of the situation in Eda municipality continues.
