It was at the end of January that a relative of a police officer was suspected of minor drug offenses and was allowed to come along for sampling.

But the urine sample disappeared and has not been found with either the police or the Forensic Medicine Agency, which analyzes the samples.

An internal investigation into misconduct was started in early March when it was discovered that the sample had disappeared.

The Special Prosecutor's Office has now reached the end of the road and chooses to close the preliminary investigation into misconduct.
