14 June 2021 The aggravating circumstance of premeditation was challenged by the Milan prosecutor Francesca Gentilini, who on the same day asked the investigating judge Sara Cipolla to validate the arrest and the precautionary measure in prison for aggravated voluntary homicide against the 52-year-old woman years that she is accused of having stabbed her 55-year-old husband Roberto Iannello to death.

The incident happened on Saturday afternoon, June 12, while the two are in the car in the Baggio area, western suburbs, in Via Amantea at the corner of Via Quinto Romano, in Milan.

Lucia Finetti, shortly after the event, was blocked by the Carabinieri about a kilometer from the place of the man's injury, who was transported to the hospital, at San Carlo in Milan, and then died from the severity of the kitchen knife blows in the throat.

The woman was in a state of shock, wounded in the hand and with bloody clothes. She was also taken to the hospital at Fatebenefratelli, to be medicated and then to the barracks.

In the late afternoon of Saturday she was then accompanied to the Prosecutor's Office to be questioned by the prosecutor on duty where she availed herself of the right not to answer.

The Carabinieri, in the immediacy of the fact, collected the testimony of those present who reported a violent quarrel in the car between the two spouses, followed by the attack with a kitchen knife.

Investigations continue to understand the exact dynamics of what happened. It would seem that the origin of the tragic quarrel was the woman's desire to separate from her husband. The man did not accept separation from his wife.
