The UAE reunited an Australian family that had been stranded in Sri Lanka for more than 30 days as a result of the closure measures imposed by the “Covid-19” pandemic, to be reunited with the “father” who has been residing in Dubai for 15 years.

The Australian family was suspended while spending a short vacation in Sri Lanka, and the closure imposed by the "Corona" measures prevented it from returning to the Emirates, which represented them a safe haven in its ordeal.

In a quick response from the concerned authorities in the UAE to the situation of the humanitarian family, coordination was coordinated with the authorities in Sri Lanka to complete the family reunification procedures, which were crowned with success.

The Australian family, consisting of mother Lorne Chen (40 years old) and her three children, Red Chen (11 years old), Levi (10 years old) and Olivia (7 years old), was received by a team of concerned authorities in the country to complete the necessary procedures, conduct medical examinations and check on the family's safety. As soon as the plane arrived at Dubai International Airport, roses and gifts were presented to the mother and her children, which brought joy and happiness to their hearts.

Lorne Tsch expressed her great happiness at the reunification of her family with her husband, who resides in Dubai, saying: “Thank you very much, I am an Australian and these are my three children. She said that with regard to education, I have succeeded in educating my children remotely in their schools in Dubai, and thanked the UAE government for the assistance it provided, which resulted in family reunification.

The children expressed their happiness to return to the Emirates, saying: "We are happy to return to Dubai, our home in which we were born, and we are happy to see our friends at school, and to see our home again in Dubai after these circumstances we lived in."
