SMHI has issued a class 1 warning for large amounts of rain in the county. The warning applies to western Ångermanland where 20-35 mm of rain is expected during Monday evening and the night towards Tuesday. This type of warning is issued when it is expected to arrive at least 35 millimeters within a twelve hour period. There is then a risk of large bodies of water, overflowing stormwater pipes and flooded basements.
