Prime Minister Suga visited Cornwall in the southwestern part of England for five days from the 10th of this month to attend the G7 Summit = Summit of the Seven Major Countries.



At the summit, he exchanged opinions with the leaders of each country and explained that he is supporting the development of a low-temperature transportation network called "cold chain" in developing countries in order to promote vaccination of the new coronavirus. We called for further support efforts.



In addition, Prime Minister Suga expressed his determination to hold the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, and called for the dispatch of a strong team of athletes.



In addition, at the summit, we had individual meetings with Prime Minister Johnson of the United Kingdom, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and President Emmanuel Macron of France.
