After the G7 in the United Kingdom, Monday at the NATO summit in Belgium, which will mark "the reunion" between America and its allies, mistreated during the presidency of Donald Trump.

"I think that NATO today is in a situation which requires a very great strategic clarification. NATO was built to face the Warsaw Pact. It is structured ideologically in this face to face. 'is more. The head of state has also launched a few pikes in recent days, especially on the fact that the United States would like to see China identified as the new common enemy.

Not sure, however, that these attempts at independence are too much to the liking of other Europeans.

In 2018, at the previous summit in Brussels, the billionaire caused a scandal, spelling out his financial demands and attacking Germany on its energy dependence on Moscow.

The contrast with Joe Biden is striking: he reaffirmed on Sunday that the defense of an attacked ally remained a "sacred obligation" for the United States. 

On Monday, leaders will lay the groundwork for the alliance's future strategic concept.
