The government appointed on June 11th met this Sunday for the first time around Prime Minister Choguel Maiga.
During this meeting, the head of government disclosed the priorities for government action.

In the meeting room of the prime minister, the atmosphere is studious for this first cabinet council of the new government team.
Around the table, members of the M5-RFP coalition, the military, some politicians and more technocratic profiles.

With the aim of redefining the priorities of the reforms to be initiated, Choguel Maiga promises the organization of “
national refoundation meetings
”.
In his speech, the head of government continued on the course to be given to the 8 months remaining in the transition.
“
Government action will focus on ending impunity in our country and putting into practice a breakthrough governance, which today are conditions for the survival of the State.
"
The improvement of security, political and institutional reforms, the organization of elections are set as priorities as well as the fight against corruption.
In detail, the creation of a single and independent organ of election organizations was mentioned.
Just like the rereading of the Algiers peace and reconciliation agreements.
Finally Choguel Maiga has promised to take legal action against those responsible for the repression of the protests of July 2020 at the time organized by the M5 coalition of which he is a member.
