Individuals accused of assaulting heavy truck drivers in Nîmes

Several individuals were arrested and taken into custody by the police on Sunday in Nîmes (Gard), suspected of assaulting heavy truck drivers,

learned

from the Nîmes prosecutor's office.

The suspects, with their faces hidden, are accused of having violently attacked drivers from Poland parked in an area on Sunday evening.

According to the first elements resulting from the investigations, these individuals are suspected of having wanted to steal their cargoes.

They are accused of beating the victims, some of whom were injured.

They were arrested shortly after the incident by the police and taken to the police station to be heard.
