The updated situation in Italy and in the world
The current situation of the pandemic in Italy with data from the Ministry of Health. There are 907 new cases with 79,524 swabs (positive rate 1.1%) and 36 deaths. Yesterday 1,390 cases with 134,136 swabs (rate at 1%) and 26 deaths.
The currently positive are 157,790 (-2,500) of which 153 thousand in home isolation. The pressure on hospital structures continues to decline: 77 fewer hospitalized patients (3,465 in total), 29 fewer patients in intensive care (536 overall, with 11 admissions that day).
In Sicily 183 cases and 5 deaths
There are 183 new cases of Covid-19 registered today in Sicily, five deaths and 154 patients discharged or cured. In all, on the island, there are 6,722 positives - 24 more than yesterday - and of these 310 are hospitalized in the ordinary regime, 47 in intensive care and 6,365 are in home isolation.
Emilia-Romagna, 137 infections and 1 death
There are 137, 63 asymptomatic, the new cases of Coronavirus ascertained in Emilia-Romagna in the last 24 hours with 8,111 swabs, a low number as always on weekends. The number of hospitalized patients is stable, while active patients continue to decline and there is one death, a 68-year-old in Modena. The healed are 463 more than the day before, 327 fewer active cases (8,018), 95.6% in isolation with mild or no symptoms. There are always 62 patients admitted to intensive care, 291 those in the other Covid departments (+3).
Lazio 111 cases and 6 deaths
"Today out of 5437 thousand swabs in Lazio (-2085) and almost 4 thousand antigenic for a total of over 9 thousand tests, 111 new positive cases are recorded (-16), deaths are 6 (+6), hospitalized are 454 (+ 4). 428 recovered, intensive therapies are 94 (-4). The ratio between positives and swabs is 2%, but if we also consider the antigenic the percentage drops to 1.2%. Cases in Rome city ' they are at 86. The number of positives is the lowest since August 2020. Today 0 deaths in the provinces ". This was stated by the councilor for health of the Lazio Region, Alessio D'Amato.
Lombardy, 102 positives and 3 deaths
In Lombardy in the last 24 hours, compared to 11,699 swabs carried out, 102 new coronavirus positives (0.8%) were found. The pressure on hospital structures is still decreasing: 109 people are now hospitalized in intensive care (-5), while in the other wards there are 596 hospitalized (-32). Three deaths bring the total number of deaths to 33,729.
In Piedmont 87 cases and 3 deaths
Today the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region communicated 87 new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19. The total of positive cases thus becomes 366,261. There are 45 hospitalized in intensive care (-2 compared to yesterday). Non-intensive care patients are 303 (-14 compared to yesterday). There are 2,257 people in home isolation. In Tuscany 82 new cases and 3 deaths
New positive cases in Tuscany are 82 more than yesterday, leading to 243,457 cases registered since the beginning of the pandemic. The currently positive are 4,206 today, -5.7% compared to yesterday. There are 253 hospitalized (8 fewer than yesterday), of which 63 are in intensive care (3 fewer). There are 3 new deaths: 2 men and one woman with an average age of 89.7 years. Overall, 3,953 people are in home isolation.
In Puglia 47 positives and 2 deaths
The president of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano, based on information from the director of the Health Promotion Department Vito Montanaro, informs that today, Monday 14 June 2021 in Puglia, 3405 tests for Covid-19 coronavirus infection have been recorded and have been registered 47 positive cases. Two deaths were recorded: 1 in the province of Bari, 1 in the province of Brindisi. Since the beginning of the emergency, 2,574,526 tests have been carried out. 233,106 patients recovered. 12,584 are currently positive cases. The total of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 252,280.
In Sardinia 31 new cases and no deaths
A total of 57,039 cases of positive Covid-19 have been ascertained in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 31 new cases were detected. In total, 1,340,983 swabs were performed, for an overall increase of 1,160 tests compared to the previous figure. There were no new deaths (1,484 in all). On the other hand, 83 (-4) people are currently hospitalized in the medical area, while 6 (+1) patients in intensive care. There are 11,883 people in home isolation and a total of 43,583 healed (+110).
Basilicata, 27 infections and 1 death in two days
There are 27 new cases of contagion from Sars Cov-2, out of a total of 664 molecular swabs, and 1 death is recorded. This was announced by the Basilicata regional task force with the bulletin referring to the last two days. The deceased person resided in Policoro. The Lucanians recovered or negativized are 61. With this update, the currently positive cases are 2,896 (-35). The hospitalized in Potenza and Matera are 40 (+2) of which none in intensive care.
Veneto, 19 infections and no deaths
Covid numbers among the lowest ever in Veneto, since the health crisis began in February 2020. The region records 19 new cases of positivity in the last 24 hours, for a prevalence of 0.29% compared to swabs performed. No deaths, as had already happened on Sunday. For 48 hours, the casualty report has remained unchanged 1 11,600. The bulletin of the Region reports it. The total number of infected since the beginning of the outbreak is 424,634. The hospital data are unchanged: 444 total hospitalized, of which 392 in the medical areas, and 52 in intensive care. Currently positive subjects are 5,880 (-40).
Calabria, 18 cases and 4 deaths
There are only 18 new infections in Calabria, even if compared to a reduced number of tampons due to the effect of the weekend, 899. The tampons-positive ratio is 2%. Four victims with the total rising to 1,212. The decline in hospitalized patients continues: -3 in the medical area (146) and -1 in intensive care (8). Isolates at home are also reduced (-192, 7,745) and active cases (-196, 7,899). The new healed are 210. To date, a total of 898766 swabs with 68,250 positives have been performed. The data are from the Prevention departments of the Asp of the Calabria Region.
In Abruzzo 5 new positives
A total of 74,469 positive cases of Covid 19 have been registered in Abruzzo since the beginning of the emergency. Compared to yesterday, there are 5 new cases (aged between 2 and 38 years). The death toll of patients does not register new cases and remains stable at 2,502. 71 patients (+2 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in non-intensive care; 4 (unchanged compared to yesterday with 0 new entries) in intensive care, while the other 1398 (-58 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL.
Liguria, 5 cases and one death
There are 5 new coronavirus positives in Liguria out of a total of 1,485 molecular swabs and 482 rapid antigenic swabs processed. This was announced by the Region in the usual update bulletin on the Covid emergency. The number of hospitalized people dropped, a total of 67 (4 less than yesterday) with 12 patients in intensive care. The vaccines administered are 94%, that is 1,136,411 doses out of 1,212,282 delivered. In the last twenty-four hours a death has been recorded: the death toll has risen to 4,343 since the beginning of the emergency. Genoa is the province with the highest number of newly infected (4) followed by Savona (1). No new contagion in Imperia and La Spezia. The number of cases currently positive decreases, 1,780 in Liguria (12 fewer), with 16 new recovered. 351 people in home isolation, 17 fewer.In active surveillance 751 subjects.
In Friuli Venezia Giulia, 4 cases and zero deaths
Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 3 new infections were detected on 1,147 molecular swabs, with a positive percentage of 0.26%. There are also 382 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which a case of contagion was detected (0.26%). There are no deaths today, there are 4 hospitalizations in intensive care units, while 9 are those in the other departments. This was communicated by the deputy governor with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi. The total deaths amounted to 3,794. The totally healed are 93,358, the clinically healed 5,639, while those in isolation drop to 4,569. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 107,373 people have been positive.
Umbria, four new positives
There are four new Covid cases ascertained between Sunday and Monday in Umbria where 28 recovered and another day without deaths. The website of the Region reports it. The current positives are now 1,013, 24 less than the previous day. 679 swabs and 249 antigen tests were analyzed, with an overall positive rate of 0.43 percent (it was 0.7 Monday last week). The total number of hospitalized patients are returning, 46, two fewer on Sunday, five of which, one more, in intensive care.
In Valle d'Aosta 2 new cases and no deaths
There are 2 new cases of coronavirus that have emerged in the last 24 hours in Valle d'Aosta for a total of 11,658. The number of deaths remains unchanged at 472. The current positives are 96 (+1) and the healed amount to 11,090 (+1). The swabs made to date are 134,605 (+107). This is what emerges from the regional bulletin.
