Guest of Europe 1, Monday, Clément Beaune, Secretary of State for European Affairs, reacted to the clash between Boris Johnson and the Europeans concerning customs duties.

He assured that in the event of non-compliance with the Brexit agreements, retaliatory measures could be put in place.

Guest of Europe 1, Monday, the Secretary of State to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in charge of European Affairs, Clément Beaune, reacted to the words of Boris Johnson who threatens to suspend the Brexit agreements.

"Boris Johnson thinks that we can sign commitments and not respect them, it is a test for Europe," he said.

Brandishing the threat of possible retaliatory measures, Clément Beaune asserts: "We have enough to defend our interests, and we will do it".
