Lucia evening last year, home care staff in Uddevalla found a woman aged 75 dead in her apartment.
An autopsy showed that the woman had been murdered and after reconnaissance work, a man who had now been convicted by Uddevalla District Court was arrested for the murder.
Extensive violence
According to the verdict, he must have subjected the woman to repeated and extensive violence.
The man is also convicted of abusing a man a couple of weeks after the murder.
The penalty will be life imprisonment when the district court has not found any mitigating circumstances.
