June 13, 2021 Stefano Lo Russo, current leader of the Democratic Party, full professor at the Polytechnic of Turin, 45, is the candidate for mayor of the center-left for the administrative meetings that will take place in the autumn in Turin.



The result was sanctioned by the primaries promoted in the city where 11,631 people voted. Lo Russo wins with 37% equal to 4,229 votes. In second place with 3,932 votes, equal to 35% of the votes, was the civic Francesco Tresso. In third place the vice president of the City Council of Turin and councilor of the Democratic Party, Enzo Lavolta, who obtained 2,863 votes equal to 25%. Finally, with 257 votes in fourth place Igor Boni president of Italian Radicals.



Upcoming center-left primaries


From Turin, the primaries will move to Bologna and Rome where consultations are on the agenda on Sunday 20 June.
