A 31-year-old paraglider died this Sunday in Savoy, in Saint-Jean-de-la-Porte, after crashing to the ground, AFP learned from mountain rescue.
At the end of the morning, the thirty-something would have missed an acrobatics before falling, said the mountain CRS.
The young man's death was pronounced at the Grenoble hospital where the emergency services had transported him.
Between 2010 and 2019, 11.8 people were killed on average each year in paragliding, according to figures from the French Free Flight Federation.
