  According to reports, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the commander of the Pacific Fleet in the far-sea area made the decision that the Russian frigate "Resonant", "Perfect" and "Russian Federation Hero Ardar Tsidenzapov" Track and drive away the submarine in the exercise area.

  During the exercise, the Russian Pacific Fleet warships fired in the open sea with the automatic naval gun AK-630 and the general naval gun A-190.

The search and tracking of the hypothetical enemy submarine was carried out by the "Admiral Panteleev" anti-submarine ship, the "Marshal Shaboshnikov" frigate, and the anti-submarine helicopter Ka-27PL.

  Among them, the crew of "Admiral Panteleev" discovered the submarine and reported the situation to the main command post of the "Marshal Krylov" command ship.

  According to the report, in order to track and classify the submarine, the relevant warship also launched the Ka-27PL equipped with sonar equipment.
