The Cabinet of Ministers said that "more than 7 billion rubles will be additionally allocated for these purposes."

The orders for the distribution of these funds were signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

“Almost 900 million rubles will be additionally allocated for work related to the elimination of unauthorized landfills within the city boundaries.

Five regions of Russia will receive the money.

These are Mordovia, Udmurtia, Voronezh, Kaliningrad and Kirov regions.

In addition, more than 1.3 billion rubles will go to the Moscow Region to co-finance the reclamation of seven landfills.

Among them are "Tsarevo", "Sliznevo", "Valtsovo", "Syanovo", "Chastsy", "Kaurtsevo", "Parfenovo".

Such work is being carried out within the framework of the federal project "Clean Country", which is part of the national project "Ecology", the message says.

It is reported that "more than 4.8 billion rubles will be additionally allocated for measures to reduce emissions of pollutants into the air."

“Four industrial regions will receive funds.

These are the Trans-Baikal Territory, the Vologda, Kemerovo and Chelyabinsk Regions.

In particular, with the help of federal funding, trams and trolleybuses will be purchased in Novokuznetsk, as well as gas supply networks will be built and private residential buildings will be connected to them.

It is also planned to update the public transport fleet with more environmentally friendly models in Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, Cherepovets and Chita.

The work is carried out within the framework of the federal project "Clean Air" of the national project "Ecology", - added in the Cabinet.
