Algeria: pending the results, the press focuses on the low participation
The legislative elections of June 12, 2021 did not mobilize the crowds in Algeria.

The Algerians are awaiting, this Sunday, June 13, the results of the legislative elections on Saturday.
We are moving, it seems, towards a participation of around 30% of some 24 million voters, the lowest rate of a legislative election for at least twenty years, in Algeria.

The early elections which took place two years after the departure of Abdelaziz Bouteflika were clearly shunned by the Algerians.
Some newspapers prefer to see the political result, but many question the extent of the abstention.

the rate has more political significance
".
