While the needs for nurses, caregivers or doctors have exploded with the health crisis, clinics and hospitals are struggling to recruit, for lack of vocation.

Despite a 20% increase in recruitments in June compared to June 2020, the CHU de la Ville rose is lacking in staff and has been increasing recruitment operations since the start of the pandemic, in particular through job dating.

Hiring before leaving school

"The teams have been exhausted by the crisis, have faced violent deaths so some professionals want to take a break or convert to other jobs," explains Djemila Bourouma, director of care at the CHU.

To cope with hospital pressure, the CHU calls on temporary workers, hires paramedical staff directly on permanent contracts or takes on trainees, without testing them on a contract, which was previously the norm.

Job dating in Montauban
