With the increase in injuries, the mayor of Moscow restores the restrictions of "Corona"

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has ordered the return of sweeping restrictions in an effort to stem an increase in COVID-19 infections, while warning that authorities are working to make thousands of beds available in hospitals to accommodate the surge in cases.

And the Bloomberg news agency today reported what Sobyanin announced that the period of June 15-19 is a holiday in the Russian capital, after a public holiday on Monday, and he urged the elderly and those with chronic diseases to stay at home.

He also ordered bars and restaurants to stop serving after 11 pm to 6 am, to close dining halls in shopping complexes, and to close children's play areas in city parks and open spaces.   

Sobyanin said in a statement on his website today, Saturday: "Over the course of the weekend, the situation regarding the spread of coronavirus infections has become significantly more complex. The number of newly diagnosed coronavirus infections has jumped to the peak level recorded last year."
