  According to the command center, the newly added 174 local cases are 79 males and 95 females, aged between 5 and 90 years old, and the onset date is between May 23 and June 12, 2021.

The distribution of cases is New Taipei City with the largest number of 81 cases, followed by Taipei City with 62 cases and Taoyuan City with 16 cases.

  The command center explained that the 26 new deaths, including 15 males and 11 females, were in their 50s to 90s, and the onset date was between May 6 and June 10. From May 15th to June 12th, the date of death is between June 4th and June 12th.

  The command center pointed out that one new imported case was a male in his 20s from Taiwan who was tested positive for new coronary pneumonia in the United States in April. He returned to Taiwan from the United States on May 17 and tested negative within 3 days before the flight. According to the report, after entering the country, he went to the epidemic prevention hotel for home quarantine. The quarantine was conducted at his own expense on June 11 and the diagnosis was confirmed today. The case was asymptomatic while in Taiwan. One contact has been listed and placed in home isolation.
