According to the Ministry of Justice of the country, the first election results will be published shortly after the closure of polling stations at 20:00, then they will be constantly updated.
The final results will be published on June 16.
In total, 19 parties take part in the voting, including nine parliamentary ones.
Earlier, the German party "Christian Democratic Union" (CDU) of Chancellor Angela Merkel won first place in the elections to the Landtag (parliament) in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt.
