In Myanmar, military crackdowns on protesting civilians have continued since the coup d'etat in February, and according to local human rights groups, more than 860 civilians have been killed in shootings by security forces.



Under these circumstances, Myanmar people living all over the world called for a protest rally to be held at the G7 summit, and the rally was held in 21 countries this weekend.

Of these, in Tokyo, on the 13th, more than 1,000 participants, mainly young Myanmar people, gathered in front of the United Nations University in Shibuya Ward.



Participants said, "I strongly oppose the atrocities of the Myanmar army," and marched around the area to take further action against the Myanmar army that caused the coup. I asked for it.



A 23-year-old international student said, "I just can't recognize what's happening in Myanmar as a younger generation. I want the international community to not only hold meetings but also take stronger actions." ..

In the UK, where the summit is held, a protest rally was held in Falmouth, the port city where the media center is located, on the 12th, and hundreds of people including Myanmar people from all over the UK participated.
