According to the report, in accordance with the recent drastic changes in the surrounding situation on the Korean Peninsula and the requirements of the internal and external environment of North Korea, the meeting proposed to further improve the combat effectiveness of the North Korean army and bring new changes in national defense work.
At the meeting, Kim Jong-un analyzed the current situation and clarified the strategic tasks that the Korean People’s Army must always adhere to.
Kim Jong Un also emphasized that the Korean People’s Army must maintain a highly mobilized state in order to reliably defend the country’s sovereignty and security.
