The leaders of the great powers of the G7 on Friday June 11 kicked off a three-day summit for the recovery after the pandemic.
Objective: to obtain a billion anti-Covid vaccines and the fight against global warming.
So many encouraging gestures, but insufficient, according to NGOs and observers.

The vaccination effort was however
at the heart of the discussions of this first day
of round table discussion.
The seven have set themselves the goal of vaccinating 60% of the population of southern countries by March 2022, especially on the African continent.
Less than 2% of Africans are vaccinated today, against for example half of British adults.
Another hot topic: the challenges posed by China and Russia.
US President Joe Biden
hoped to rally his counterparts
against China
... Beijing's fury, which accuses Washington of forming "
cliques
".
And in the end, refusal of European leaders who remain on their line: China is a systemic rival, sometimes a competitor, but also a partner on global issues.
Finally, the climate emergency: "
Learning the lessons of the pandemic to rebuild better, greener and fairer
" These are the words of the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, who relies heavily on this summit for the image of a Post-Brexit UK in great shape.
Whoever
chairs the G7 this year
wants this summit to give momentum to a "
green industrial revolution
", with new targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions by the end of the decade.
This is because the Brexit man is now also a champion of the climate cause and announces that he wants to protect at least 30% of land and oceans by 2030.
