"The forces and means of the Black Sea Fleet have begun to control the actions of the US Navy destroyer Laboon, which entered the Black Sea on June 11, 2021," RIA Novosti quotes the agency as saying.
As reported by the US 6th Fleet, the destroyer began the transition from the Mediterranean to the Black Sea to carry out operations to ensure safety at sea.
These ships carry Tomahawk and Harpoon cruise missiles, as well as SM-3 anti-missiles.
